Hi i had a gastric sleevedone 3 yrs ago but just lately my stomach has swollen like i'm 9 mths pregnant, and when i eat something i get stomach pain. i have put on a stone in the last year but try think that's because i am taking prescribed steroids?

There are several possible causes for a swollen belly. The most common cause is obesity(due to over eating). Steroids used at high doses can be the cause in your case as these drugs increase your appetite. So you need to visit your physician to check you, make sure that your Liver is healthy(check liver functions its a blood test) and reduce the steroids unless you have a serious medical conditio
