I accidentally bought the wrong kind of formula. i use similac pro advance, but mistakenly purchased pro sensitive. i only just noticed a mixup and cant return it now. can i give the pro sensitive to my baby for a couple days? is it safe?

Yes. You should notice little if any difference in babies feeding or stool pattern. If anything it is designed to be gentler on the gut.

The Pro Sensitive may be used and shares many common features of the Pro Advance formula. It is better for infants who are sensitive to lactose. Some differences include that ' Similac Pro-Sensitive has more protein, carbohydrates, calcium, phosphorus, sodium, and potassium concentrations" The formula is a standard infant formula. Watch for any significant changes in feeding and GI upset.
