Even normal women occasionally skip a cycle or two for no apparent reason. If your symptoms are pregnancy related the hormonal changes that trigger them would turn a UPT positive. Early testing can be falsely negative, but you can test again. If menses does not come in a month a doc may offer meds to bring one on.

Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.
