Sharks can regenerate teeth so why humans cannot?

Can't grow teeth: Sharks teeth are designed to be shed. They form on the inside and roll forward like a tractor tread. When one comes out another rolls forward. If you had teeth like a shark, the new ones would be pointed towards the inside of your mouth. Each species is adapted to it's diet.A.

Sharks don't: Shark teeth are really skin scales made to stand up as the skin grows and stretches in that particular place. Sharks do not regenerate teeth.
