65yfemale,crc 3y ago,surveillance done accordingly,major issue:hb level is dropping continously,12.9 g/dl to 12.7,then 12.5 and now 12.1 in a year,other indexes and iron profile all normal,doc isnt taking this seriously.should we consult hemato?

Your Hgb is borderline You don't mention what the total red blood cell count,hematocrit,MCV,MCH,MCHC, platelet count, & white blood cell count are. Abnormal results of these could point to Vit. B12 or folic acid deficiency, alcohol excess, early bone marrow failure like hypoplastic anemia,myelofibrosis. A hematologist can evaluate & advise you best.
