It is probably from dry air. Try using a lip balm, Any lip moisturizer will do. Using a humidifier in your bedroom would be helpful. Wish you good health!

You may want to see a a specialist Oral Pathologist. Local Dental Society can help you locate. Concerned that you report loss of part of lip/nose. This requires immediate investigation.
