Currently on prednisone 15mg since the beginning of sept. started at 50mg daily. progressively i have felt worse and worse, lots of nausea, lack of appetite, and my stomach is extremely distended. it gets uncomfortable. is this normal side effect?

Prednisone in these doses, for this long, could cause such symptoms. Or they might be symptoms of the underlying problem the prednisone is treating. Or something else entirely. Discuss with the doctor treating you. Whatever else, do not stop taking it without your doctor's advice: sudden stopping after these doses could be dangerous. Good luck.
