A member asked:

If high-risk hpv virus enters a person's body at the age of 20 and becomes dormant in his body, could be that high-risk hpv virus, which became inactive at the age of 50, be reactivated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

High risk strains of HPV routinely become inactive and hibernate within 2 years of initial infection. They rarely re-activate.
