See your PCP.: Psychiatric medications do not in themselves cause CHF but if you have a heart condition, some psychiatric medications can affect the heart. See your pcp to find other causes of your symptoms.

Cardiac Disease: As answered elsewhere, the fda has issued warnings for antipsychotics and certain antidepressants as causing cardiac illness, sudden death or metabolic syndrome in certain populations. The prescriber should monitor the risks and benefits of those agents when being prescribed to a person with coexisting heart disease.
