31 m. i keep suffering from short term memory loss. recently, i forgot to take something i bought at the store to my car. i also slammed car door on myself trying to get out. what is the likely issue here? long term depression?

ADHD? slamming door is not due to short term memory loss I would not think. More like being distracted. Ask about ADHD problems with your Dr. as well as keeping a good diary to share with them on your memory issues. If you can remember to do that. ;-) Dr humor. Please keep a detailed diary and discuss. Ask others who know you what they see.

The list of possible causes is long, but long term depression is low on the list. YOu need to review with your doctor.
