The effects of anger on heart health are harmful. Cannot tell you precisely how long it takes to see evidence of damage to the arteries. It is well known that the blood pressure can rise, sometimes to unsafe levels during emotional stress. Would strongly recommend that you seek your doctor's guidance in the management of this problem. Remember that it takes time to modify behaviour patterns.Good

This is an age old question. It takes only seconds for blood vessel damage to start to occur when BP goes up. This may well be normal for you. Check the accuracy of your BP device with your Dr and that you are doing it exactly the right way. BP varies with every heart beat. Keep a good record and share with your Dr.
