A "kidney" (ureteral?) stent cannot cause pain from sex or vaginal bleeding. Any new or unexplained abdominal pain or abnormal vaginal bleeding should be professionally evaluated. Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is possible if at risk for STD. Contact your personal physician; if not available and pain or bleeding are severe, or if you have fever, urgent care or ER would be wise. Good luck.

Stents can cause back pain and painful urination as the lower part of the bladder can get irritated during sex. Hold vaginal sex. drink water, take OTC pain med. If it still persists let your Urologist know. Hope you feel better
