A member asked:

Can i contract covid a 2nd time 6months after? if so, is the experience likely to be worse or better than the first?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is possible, especially with the omicron variant, but would expect a mild infection at most, and very low risk for hospitalization. Some "experts" recommend vaccination even when you do achieve natural immunity from your original infection, as the variant forms may still be a risk.
