A member asked:

Can i drink alcohol with pityriasis rosea and will it make it worse?

It might make it LOOK worse, because alcohol dilates blood vessels, so the pityriasis spots may appear more red as a result. But alcohol will not actually make pityriasis rosea worse. There are a lot of reasons to refrain from drinking alcohol, but this is not one of them.

No. Alcohol is a poison that never did anybody any good, ever, so stay away from it. It will destroy your brain cells, damage testicular cells that make testosterone, facilitate development of cancer in many organs, cause hepatitis, cirrhosis and pancreatitis etc. There is no safe level of alcohol intake. Quit while you are ahead.
