My covid isolation ended 2 weeks ago. few days before i got covid, i got my first dose of pfizer. i went out today for friends birthday, what are chances of reinfection? whether it be by someone there with me or strangers. when to get second dose?

At age 21, the second dose of Pfizer vaccine is given 5-6 weeks after the first dose. Even when the 2nd dose and the booster shot are given, "breakthrough" COVID-19 cases have been reported, but usually with mild symptoms which do not result in hospitalization. Best is to wear a mask at all times in public gatherings, and be compulsive about hand sanitation.

Reinfection may occur, but is not likely. If you bare otherwise healthy, protective antibodies in response to the infection and the vaccine are present in your system. Continue to use CDC guidelines for social distancing.
