A member asked:

What is the normal range of amniotic fluid levels at 33-34 weeks pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Amniotic fluid level: In general, we accept an ultrasound measure divided in the four quadrants of your uterine cavity of anywhere from 5-25cm to be a normal range. Lower than 8cm and we usually do further testing or repeat assessment of the fluid levels. The level may be low or high for a number of reasons that your OB doctor can usually detect.
