No, the placebo pills are only there as "placeholders" Since taking pills correctly is really important, manufacturers came up with different ways to make sure you get the pills you need on the correct day. Since it is easier to just take a pill every day, placebo pills were inserted to fill in on days where no pill is required. That makes it easy, just one pill a day, every day, needed or not.
