It takes a few days for sperm to reach/join the egg & a couple to move into position in the womb. It then takes more time to attach and begin forming the hormones that turn the test positive. So 2 days after an encounter is too soon for that encounter to turn a teat positive. The earlier encounter is likely the cause. You can have a blood test (NIPP) done as early as 8-10 wks to verify paternity.

Agree with Dr. Ferguson. Your ex is more likely the father but you should consult your OB for getting a DNA test based on fetal DNA in your blood.
