It's : It's possible, but less likely that you would get pregnant at the end of your period as opposed to a week or two after your period. If you have a regular cycle, the most fertile time for most women is a week or two after your period has ended. This is when most women ovulate and having sex around the time of ovulation increases the chances of the sperm fertilizing the egg. Besides timing, other ways to tell when you are ovulating are a slightly increased body temperature (if you take your temperature at the same time every day, you may notice a pattern) and a change in vaginal discharge (stringy and more like uncooked egg-white).
