I got a iud put in after i had a c section in august. my iud got inserted october 2021. in november i ended up bleeding nov 19-30. my flo app is telling me that my period should come on today. but it havent came on?

I would assume the prolonged bleeding in the last 11 days of November has delayed your period this month.

IUDs are very effective in preventing pregnancy. But nothing is absolutely perfect. IUDs can cause abnormal menstrual patterns especially in the first 6 months. IUD strings should be checked at least Monthly. If there is any concern for displacement or expulsion, an office encounter with a pelvic exam with or without imaging can confirm placement
