Types 16 and 18 are associated with cellular abnormalities which can lead to cervical cancer or vaginal cancer. Other types can also cause cancer, but less frequently progress to same. See your GYN physician who will provide guidance and may order a colposcopy and biopsy to confirm the lesion(s).
