Monoclonal antibodies have been useful in decreasing the severity of COVID-19 in all variants until now (with the omicron). Only 1 of the 3 monoclonals works against that variant. Hopefully they are trying that one. Having said that, it sounds as if being monitored in the hospital & having every potential treatment tried (including dexamethasone & monoclonals) is the best treatment for your son.
