Is there any risk in spraying saline spray in nose for a 7 years old twice a day during winter months to avoid alergies etc? is it too much?

Not if it is designed for this use. Saline is any mixture of water and salt. If made too weak or too strong it can eventually injure the capillaries in the nose. The products made for use in this location are the proper strength and as such they can be used as often/day for as long as needed with no harm.
