The best recommendation at this point is to go have a physician perform a thorough neurologic evaluation to get to the bottom of your problem and provide you the proper treatment. Given the fact that there is numbness, the concern is that it is a nerve origin problem and this needs to be tended to in order to prevent any permanent neurologic injury.

Always best to have a problem suggest as yours diagnosed, in order to achieve successful therapy. Although you might have a pinched nerve in the lower back, one might also consider "meralgia paresthetica" involving lateral femoral nerve of thigh. Have your doctor check this out.
