Sti question - so about 9 weeks ago i had heterosexual sex (i'm male). our condom slipped. last week (the 8 week mark since we had sex) i went for an sti panel including hiv. i'm waiting for results. in the future would a condom slip warrant this?

Maybe, maybe not. Even unprotected sex usually doesn't result in any STI, but of course the risk depends on your partner's sexual lifestyle and risks. However, unless particularly high risk, probably testing wasn't necessary just because of a brief condom "slip". The risk would be higher if it ruptured, or if sex were continued after slipping out of the condom.
