A member asked:

If fresh live sperm is wiped into my vagina directly after sex, what is the chance of pregnancy?

It depends. Sperm are fragile and sensitive to drying and loss with any unbalanced transfer medium. If a large volume is introduced this way some might survive and trigger pregnancy if a fertile egg was in the correct position. How one would calculate the chance is unknown. Not zero but not great.

Even under ideal circumstances, unprotected sex results in pregnancy in one on three episodes. It is not feasible to predict your risk of pregnancy. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD.
