My periods have become very heavy and full clots (over 1yr). i am having to "change" every 30-40mins for 24-48 (sometimes 36hrs) . clots can be the size of a lime and very uncomfortable low back pain whil menstruating. what could be the cause?

It is not feasible to ascertain the cause without additional information. Your doctor can prescribe you medication that can limit your periods to once a year. For now take oral iron and multivitamins to prevent anemia from blood loss.

Well the spotting has lasted about 6 days now. It's still really light. But yesturday there were little tiny clots and I have pain in one side of my back , not to uncomfortable but def noticeable. My period isn't due for 2 more weeks. ?
