Chronic pain can be a result of cancer treatment. It's important for you to obtain relief as chronic pain greatly affects your quality of life. Pain management specialists or rheumatologists (who treat fibromyalgia) should be able to help you.

High altitude neither creates nor causes your pain but cold might worsen. Agree that pain generator such as fibromyalgia or even small fiber neuropathy should be considered

What you described is not uncommon following bone marrow transplant and is unlikely to be related to high altitude. Do consult a pain specialist as there may be medication as well as non-medication pain relief options. Wish you good health!
