I had af genitalium tests and everything was negative even candida ,my gyn told me that you have candida but no lab results test positive for it . i have soreness and little burning outside my vagina . is it possible to have candidates only outside?

It is difficult to disregard your GYN doc's diagnosis without examining you although your symptoms and negative test seem incompatible with vaginal yeast infection. However, if your doctor made that diagnosis and gave you prescription for this condition you should use it as a therapeutic trial because the treatment for vaginal yeast infection is not harmful.
