I take amour for low thyroid. just got blood results. all normal except t3, range is 2.30-4.20. i am at 4.65. is this really out of range? i see my doc next week, but i am curious on how out this is over. thank you?

When you take thyroid supplement regardless of the formula, if TSH level is in range the thyroid supplement dose is appropriate. T3 is usually not checked when we monitor treatment for hypothyroidism. However, if T4 is also borderline high and TSH is borderline low, dose of Amour thyroid may need to be reduced slightly but your doctor should know best.
