I took meds for impetigo, and after 5 days it's gone, leaving red, flat, scaly, dry skin behind. what is post-impetigo skin care- should i moisturize?

Mupirocin ointment should also be used in the nose, underarms, under breasts, navel, groin and perianal area twice a day x 2 weeks to decrease the amount of staph that can colonize these areas.
