There was no reason for CD4/CD8 testing, which is not a test for HIV infection; it says nothing about HIV status. In people with HIV, CD counts are a measure of immune system function. You do not have HIV, as proved by your HIV blood test. There is nothing abnormal about your ratio. I'm sure it was upsetting to know a partner had HIV, but you definitely do not. Stop worrying and stop testing.
