Technically as many people that this one person can come into close contact with during the the time they are infectious. A person with COVID-19 is considered infectious starting two days before they develop symptoms, or two days before the date of their positive test if they do not have symptoms. Shedding of the virus can occur for approximately ten days, sometimes longer.

There is no theoretical limit to the number one person can infect. On average, a person infected with the Delta variant infects 6-7 people. Get HPV, Flu and Covid vaccines. Wish you good health!
