Took ranitidine for two years got alopecia stopped taking it. i never noticed ridges or pits back then but saw some last night very small only on few nails. more nails have ridges. why are ridges still here? hair does shed but no bald patch?

Some ridges in fingernails are are not serious but prominent ridges are seen in certain vitamin & nutritional deficiencies. A dermatologist can evaluate & advise you. Any appropriate tests ,if needed, will be ordered after the evaluation.
