33yr old. right lower/inside edge of breast hurts when i lean on something. gp examined. no lumps or visual changes. irregular, short cycle periods. no family bc history. could it be bc?

If by BC you mean breast cancer (rather than birth control), while usually someone might feel a lump that is not always true. If your breast hurts and a reason is not clear, it is very reasonable to get a diagnostic (not screening) mammogram that can be followed with an ultrasound. I am glad you were checked, but more discussion seems needed. Good luck

PCOS, is most likely the problem, and should be evaluated by your doctor, blood testing as well. Irregular ovulation raises estrogen levels causing breast pain.
