If you had unprotected sex before your period and then had a period, the possibilty of you getting pregnant is smal but it is still there. usually the period is lighter than the usual period. Pregnancy tests can be done from the first day of your missed period. If unsure when you're having your next period—or your period is irregular– take the test at least 10 days after you had unprotected sex

Pregnancy is known to have occurred from sex on any and all days of the cycle. If you you miss your period by 4-5 days, do a home pregnancy test. If the result is negative repeat the test 4-5 days later unless you get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions carefully. Wish you good health! If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time.
