Yes you can still lose weight..Abilify can cause an increase in appetite for some, thus eating more and gaining weight. If you don't eat more than before this medicine, it should not change much for you. Just remember, 3500 calories = 1 pound. If you take in more food calories than you can burn off, you will gain weight. If burning more than intake, you will lose weight. Consult doc. Good luck
