Palpitations and chest tightness warrant an evaluation by your doctor to be sure regarding your heart. Make your own observations with regard to what precipitates chest tightness since it might help your doctor in tracking down the cause. If you have a family history of a heart problem, or if your cholesterol is abnormal this becomes more important to fully evaluate. Good luck.
