My foots blood pools, turning it purple or red. now, it's getting ice cold and seems impossible to keep "warm". what should i be doing?

When your feet are in a dependent position it's common to see purplish discoloration as unoxygenated blood pools in the veins. However I wouldn't expect the skin to actually feel cold. That would be a sign of spasm or blockage in the arterial side of the circulation. Your MD can examine you and answer these questions.

Could be what they call Reynaud's Phenomenon but it can be more than that. The PCP, Rheumatologist and possibly Vascular Surgical consult may all be needed in sorting out and managing this potentially consequential problem.
