A member asked:

I read that postinor delays ovulation by 5-7 days, do i count from my previous day of ovulation to get the new estimated day of ovulation?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Postinor may or may not delay ovulation, mostly depending on where you are in your cycle when you take it, and your next period could be delayed from that. Estimating the day of ovulation is imprecise under the best circumstances. Generally you ovulate 14 days before your period, which can only be calculated in retrospect.
