Stomach acidity is quite strong and will kill most bacteria. A few spores may escape this. We are constantly flooded with bacteria and our respiratory tract and stomach keeps us healthy. So enjoy your good health with a system that is constantly protecting you.

Stomach acid is very strong and has a pH of 3.5 - 1, 1 being the strongest. It is hydrochloric acid and will kill nearly all bacteria and most spores but not all. It is an amazing digestive and protective system. However, we still embibe living bacteria and viruses, and we should therefore wash our hands and food and cook it . Heating kills bugs, washing fruits and vegetables removes germs.
