I have alopecia and use topical clobetasol to treat it and getting a cortisol shot soon. i heard the vaccine promotes more hair loss which i dont want. should i get the covid vaccine? how would this effect my hair loss?

Alopecia of the scalp n does not respond to cortisone but if due to other causes it may. Covid does not cause alopecia neither does the vaccine. Getting the vaccine is a very good idea.

I have not heard of vaccine affecting hair loss. Do a good family tree of hair loss and see if it runs n your family. Remember If you die from COVID-19 your hair will stop growing all over but you will not notice it. Get the vaccine. The only med that works for hair loss i minoxidil bu must use it forever, if it works. Can be expensive.
