They are both from the same category of medications-proton pump inhibitors. This means they both work the same way. Neither one is better than the other, in my experience. So, whichever one is more affordable will likely be the best one for you to choose. Sometimes, insurances will cover one over the other-if this is the case, go with whatever your insurance covers.
