Steatosis refers to fatty liver, a more and more common condition seen in diabetes and obesity among others. Hepatomegaly reflects an enlarged liver and that may have a variety of causes.

Steatosis means increase fat in liver and hepatomegaly is enlarged liver. Both are a concern. If you are overweight, losing weight is imperative. Be sure to talk to your doctor. Wish you good health!
