You don't have to worry about pregnancy, but you do have to worry about sexually-transmitted diseases (STDs). Having unprotected sex -- whether anal or vaginal -- with someone who has not been clearly demonstrated NOT to be carrying such diseases -- is dangerous in and of itself.

Pregnancy is not likely in above circumstances. Contraception remains otherwise key in avoiding undesired pregnancy and associated anxiety, specifically when intercourse becomes possible.

Anal sex can't get you pregnant but any type of unprotected sex can result in STDS, HIV, HERPES . What worries more do you need. Safe sex of any kind is the best.
