Start with your PCP. The term just means air swallower and we all swallow some. Whether or not it arises to the level of a problem is discerned by history/exam and maybe some testing (x-rays).

Aerophagia by definition Means swallowing of air differential diagnosis includes Eating too fast drinking water during eating psychogenic ,small bowl overgrowth and Cpap treatment
