Probably you should be checked for predisposing factors. See an ophthalmologist, who can evaluate for things like obstructed tear ducts. More like, you might be colonized with staph, strep or other bacteria causing the problem, which can be difficult to eradicate. An infectious diseases specialist can help evaluate this and perhaps prescribe treatment. Good luck.

See an eye MD to establish the underlying cause. A stye, or chalazion, occurs from a blockage in a tube that releases oil onto your tear film. The gland continues to make oil, swells up, and can sometimes get infected. You may have rosacea of the skin of the face and eyelids, a condition which can cause thicker oil. Blepharitis can also cause styes. Hot compresses and cleaning the eyelids help.
