It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, and physical examination. What you described suggest a mucus cyst. If the "bump" is not getting bigger, is not painful and there is no discharge, you may watch and wait. If it persists, it would be prudent to see an oral surgeon because if it is a mucocele, it may need to be excised. Wish you good health!
