Pediatric eye doc: I hope your son is under the care of pediatric ophthalmologist. There are set criteria and procedures for patching to help resolve strabismus in babies. Unsupervised patching can actually produce poor vision in the "good" eye. Three weeks is not a sufficient time to see a substantial change. You should talk to your doctor about the time frame where you will see a change and his expectations.
