MPV is oral and RDV is intravenous. Whether one is more effective than the other isn't yet possible to know.

In clinical trials molnupiravir significantly lowered the risk of hospitalization or death when taken by at risk, non-hospitalized adult pts with mild-to-moderate COVID-19. The FDA has approved the antiviral drug Veklury (remdesivir) for use in adult & pediatric patients 12 & older & weighing at least 40 kilograms for the treatment of of COVID-19 requiring hospitalization. Be well!
